Start with the recording share link
Open the individual Loom recording and copy its share URL. A workspace, library or account URL does not identify the recording to download. Check that the recording is available without restricted access.
Use the recording owner’s download option when available
If Loom provides a download button for a recording you own or are allowed to save, use that option first. This tool checks for an available public media source and cannot override owner permissions.
Check a saved screen recording
Play the beginning and end, listen to the narration and check small text at normal zoom. Source compression may make screen text difficult to read. Retain the recording link and date with your local file.
