Video Pins versus image Pins
An image-only Pin has no video track to save. Open the Pin first and confirm that it plays as a video. A thumbnail image or a link to a video on another website may not contain a downloadable Pinterest video.
When a pin.it share link fails
Open the short link in your browser and copy the full Pin address after it redirects. A removed Pin, private board or restricted source may still be unavailable. Do not paste a search results page or an entire board URL.
Check audio and dimensions after downloading
Play the saved MP4 and inspect its dimensions in file properties. The tool passes through an available video file; it does not combine separate audio tracks or upscale the picture. A silent source remains silent.
