An available image is not always the original upload
Pinterest may serve several sizes of an image. This downloader tries an available source and can fall back to a smaller version if a larger one is inaccessible. Check the saved dimensions instead of relying on an HD label.
Check whether the source is animated
A static preview of an animation cannot be turned back into a GIF. Open the saved file in a browser to check animation. If the source only exposes a still image, that is all the tool can return.
Keep the source context with the file
Save the Pin URL with your image and follow its destination link when you need the original creator or reuse information. A Pin may link to a third-party source, and downloading does not grant permission to republish it.
